The game should not even be this close. The ND QB playing better than Drew. Drew is a liability to this team and I am being honest.
Should be 14 -0 but you know Big Game James blowing it on the goal line and letting his defense make a back up march down the field
Should be at least 14-3. ND got some breaks on the last drive, recovering the fumble and QB somehow holding onto the ball on the Carter sack.
Good drive from Angeli, but don't think he'll have same success in second half if he is the guy the rest of the way. Always hard to adapt to a new quarterback mid drive especially when they're capable of being decent.
Carter not getting to that fumble really hurt--not his fault--he's playing amazing just sucks

So weird how the best QB on the field in the 1st half was ND's 2nd string QB.
Allar missing singleton on that easy pass in the flat is my only real beef. Inexcusable for him to miss that pass.

Agree 100%. A youth league kid makes that throw more often than not.
We kept blitzing and ND had short quick release passes. That's how they were often 2nd and 2.
Game is absolutely being called the same both ways.

This reminds me of those 80s Orange and Fiesta Bowls with the eastern independents. Low-scoring, run-heavy, physical football… I don’t like the teams, but I am loving this game.
That was by far the worst one. But there were a couple others that our guy was pretty open. The sideline passes to Singleton and Warren should have been easy completions.

That Warren throw was tough--one he can make and it was a bad through but not as bad as the other two. Not even close.
