Iowa just made the East Region in basketball, played in Brooklyn NYC, the Hawkeyes will be out in force, and will get an eyeful from the Bedlam and Pandemonium known as St Paddy's day in NYC, Thursday March 17.

You'll see plenty of openly drunk people on March 17, especially those coming from/returning to Long Island via Penn Station (which sits below MSG) but you'd be wise to steer particularly clear of the area around 2nd & 3rd avenues, above 14th and below 34th streets. It's a long walk east from MSG so you're probably not in danger of making that mistake.
