Here's an interesting stat.

Based on ESPN's Football Power Index, the odds of representing the East in the Big Ten Championship are:

1. Penn State 48.9%
2. Michigan 41.2%
3. Ohio State 9.6%

Note: rounding error causes them to not add up to 100%

Play the game, odds and talking heads be damned. Check in at 3:30 on Saturday. Nothing before that counts. Hot air.

FWIW - and it probably ain't much - the $$$$ guys in Vegas have PSU as an 81% chance of beating MSU.......and OSU at 69% chance against UMich

That puts the odds of PSU to the B1G game at 56% (.81 X .69)........just a hair better than the ESPN guesstimate

Obviously, UMich would be at 31%.......leaving OSU at 13%

Bottom line as to the difference? Vegas doesn't like UMich as much as ESPN does
I think I'd be leaning "Vegas" on that one
