- curious to see how PSU will do in their B1G opener
- aware that Lovie Smith doesn't have elite talent, but he's a good coach
- hopeful that PSU will clean up the penalty bug that afflicting them last week
- cognizant that our entire college football routine is off, as we're not used to PSU playing on Friday nite
- interested to see how many true freshmen play tonight
- somewhat fearful of the Illini FG kicker
- not looking ahead to next week, and hoping the team is focused on tonight's game
- ready for a victory

I like what Rahne is doing. Attack the short middle with the tight end and the linebackers cannot play the run tight. Should free up the running game.

I did not know Syracuse had a franchised defensive scheme.
