Actually I thought the D improved greatly the second half of the season. the problem all season was the lack of a certified killer. No Heligh to assure a point at the critical moment. The loss to Pitt was the painful example. Played four sets ,two at 25-23 and two at 25-22. Two or three kills at the proper moment and that was a victory
