is having Dick Vitale on the broadcast. Beyond unwatchable. Flipped by it for 30 seconds. Did Duke not resign him this season?

They're doing an announcer flip flop.....college announcers doing NBA games and vice-versa.

It was terrible....DV and Walton argued about everything. DV made a fool of himself IMO.....but that is really not news

What about watching a B1G football game with Beth Mowins announcing? Only she could ruin an 81 yard run!

Watching a WNBA game?
Just what I was going to say.

I met Dickie in Bradenton/Lakewood Ranch, FL last Thursday. He looks (cuz I guess he is) really old. He was pleasant enough and is a regular at this one breakfast place there. That said, I can't listen to him call a game. He is certainly a shill for certain programs.

I've posted this before...I went to a business event where he was a guest speaker. He bashed paterno and PSU for joining the B1G. In Q&A, I told him that PSU joined the B1G because ND had locked up an entire network (at the time, there were only three and it was before cable) and PSU had to do something to defend their market share. DV is a HUGE ND fan (both daughters went there) and he went off on paterno being "greedy". Then he hocked his book.

Back to last night's game...I was going back and forth from the local 'cast to the TNT one. I agree, DV and Walton were horrible and childish. They are probably STILL talking over eachother. The only time he let Bill talk was when he was trashing Cleveland. Yet, Korver is going OFF and they are talking about CLE weather and apparel contracts. Just awful. In the meantime, Austin Carr is giving a clinic on the pick and roll adjustments the Cavs have made to accommodate Korver in the wake of Kevin Love's back injury while they go back to studio to have Jim Chones chime in our playing the inside-outside game when you don't have a traditional center.
