Honestly , how many teams, if any, have you seen in your lifetime better on both sides of the ball than these guys? I haven't. This is far and away the best Buckeye team I've sen since PSU joined the Big Ten in '93. They are one of the best college football teams I've ever seen. PSU plays them on Saturday and although the chances are slim, I'll watch and cheer and cuss worse than anything you've ever heard.

Because rankings arent always about how good you are. It takes resume into account. If you look at the advanced metrics, like Connelly's SP+, OSU is the runaway #1 team there.

Well, there have been A LOT of very good football teams over the years that have stubbed their toes on their way to trying to complete a special season. It’s happened in Columbus on more than one occasion.....and history occasionally repeats itself.

The Buckeyes might win 8 or 9 times out of 10.....but in any given game on any given gameday, well, that’s why they play the game!

I watched Urban last night onB10 network. He insisted several times that the most important game remaining on OSU's schedule was not the Penn State game this week but their game with Michigan.
I like the idea that they possibly are overlooking us...maybe a classic trap game scenario in the making.
If my memory Is correct, in PSU's 86 championship season, Maryland have us all we could handle before our annual rivalry game with Pitt .

Seriously, this comes up every once in a while and it's basically a joke - no contest. I remember seeing the spread a few years ago with one of Saban's best Alabama teams versus the worst team in the NFL that year - maybe Buffalo (could be wrong). The spread was 28 points and I have to believe that's really being generous to Alabama. I would have taken the NFL team and given the points in a heart beat. It's basically juiced-up men against boys.

I want to see OSU in two years after the Meyer recruits are gone. Coach Day was handed the keys to a Ferrari this season, but the honeymoon will not last, especially in Columbus.
