OSU Training Day on BTN

I am sure Delaney and BTN are ecstatic that OSU won the NC. But, both BTN and ESPN have just gone wayyyyyy overboard with their love fest for the Bucknuts. Luckily we have enough buzz that we get some airtime mention, but I don't think I have seen anything on IU, Purdue, Maryland or Minnehaha this past few months. It's almost as if BTN decided to cancel those four school's programming for more Bucknuts.

The BTN is going to make a big deal over any member school that wins the FBS national championship. Why wouldn't it? The B1G has a new level of national credibility as a result, and that benefits Penn State.

As to which schools get airtime on BTN, I'm sure the network programmers to try to find a balance between giving 14 schools a portion of airtime while also airing the programming that will turn TV dials to the BTN. I get sick of seeing OSU-Michigan football games featured on replays, but it's quite likely those games draw the most viewership.

Wait, I thought NY was the big cable box market and bonanza for the Delany network? Shouldn't they be flooding the market with Rutgers replays? Just kidding, of course.

You ought to live and work in Ohio.24/7 Buckeyes. It gets tougher and tougher.

I don't know why the hype is any different with OSU than with Bama, for instance, in the past. They're the defending champs and absolutely loaded with talent so kind of have to expect the media to be all over them. I actually don't think this helps OSU at all since last year they were able to ride the "no respect" label and milk it for all it was worth.

Show kicks off on Wednesday at 7 PM EST if anyone is interested.
I particularly liked the part where Alonzo(played by Urban Meyer) takes J.T. Barrett, the youngster, into the restaurant to see the wise men(played by Jim Delany, Jim Tressel and John Cooper) because he needs the go ahead to steal more money for recruits, and then shortly afterward, Terrelle Pryor messes everything up by stealing the money out of the trunk.
