OSU vs ND game thread

Like obviously saying something never gets called doesn't mean it literally never gets called. It can also mean it rarely or infrequently gets called. You seem to struggle with taking things hyper literally all the time. It's a major indicator of Autism. You might want to get it checked out.

What I said wasn't an insult. I'm more active on reddit so feel free to go scour the game thread in the cfb sub. The comments are in there.
You're not following this at all--I agree with that. Which is why I said things like "that's never called" because it's rarely called. I'm not the one taking things literally here.

I'm talking about the bold part of your quote "We were told these things never get called."

It's honestly hysterical you thought I was concerned or discussion the "never get called" part--it doesn't even make sense.

Congrats OSU for spending over $20M to buy a natty. The SEC and OSU have been buying natty’s for 20+ years. It’s just now legal.

I would have preferred more of a beat down but OSU got in some kind of defensive funk after their fumble. Game should not have been as close as it ended up in the 4th.

Well, those are cited numbers and there is no proof to the contrary.
Cited by who? The numbers aren't public. Especially with guys within the organization. No one knows--everyone's guessing
Come on--you're telling me you think Allar, Allen, Singleton, DDS, etc all came back because they love Penn State--they got paid--big time.

Next season and we shall see if we are then in the nil top 10.. For this season it was osu and texas at the top of nil and nobody else is close.

Will Howard is 23 and just completed his fifth year of college ball. Kansas and tOSU.

Reilly Leonard is 22 and just completed his fourth year of college ball. Duke ND.

Gatehouse emerged for ND in the post season. He had great games against us and tOSU. NDs TE flashed as well.

Also, as someone pointed out, look how disciplined Ohio State played today on the biggest stage. … granted they had pass interference penalties, but you didn't see unportsmanlike conduct, and all that bullsh* that our guys do after every single play. It takes a different kind of poise and mentality to win this, along with the abundance of talent. So far, james has not shown the ability to be a hard ass and demand smart poised, football, but everybody can grow.

And they made the clutch play. Long completion. Would we be able to make that play like what OSU executed as we are squandering a lead like that on the biggest stage? Nope. Pretty sure we would not have converted and had punted. Then prayed our defense could hold on. Championship teams make championship plays in the clutch.

That is just BS - you don't know this. Oregon, TAMU, and a few SEC teams spent every bit as much as OSU and Texas ----- especially Phil Knight and Oregon. OSU's figure was just made public - many others' weren't.

I really hate the nonsense our defense does after every play. But I did see better discipline in the playoffs, and I do think that CJF has improved his gameday coaching somewhat. Both items need improvement, but the trends are positive.

In my mind he will have improved when we can confidently NOT say what OSU was doing in that 4th quarter was "Franklining".

Will Howard passing and running was the difference in the game. Great credit to him and Day for coaching him up. Probably wouldn't have won the game with Kyle McCord.

Also, Chip Kelly deserves a lot of credit for having a decent running game with banged up offensive line. Two years ago OSU couldn't punch it in when in the red zone. This year it could.

LMAO.

The game seemed anti climatic . Like few cared outside the two fan bases. I didn't watch.

The game or sports in general might be a little overexposed . 🤷‍♂️

Contrast that with lack of class by Michigan after they win games.
Apparently the ND locker room was quite a mess with people yelling and reporters being restrained. Also a young gal driving day and Howard wrecked

It helps that the OSU wide receiver had more separation on one play than all of ours did combined in the entire game.

It’s all about how much you have to spend. Texas and OSU were the richest this season. We did not come close to either school. It’s becoming MLB.

Even Ryan Day and Chip Kelly could not F up a $20 million NIL war chest. Most of the posters here could’ve coached that team to the national championship.
