OT: Best tropical vacation suggestions

Good choice, there is an excellent snorkeling spot right by that resort. I know the all inclusive makes sense for a lot of people but TC has a ton of very good restaurants and a terrific grocery store.

My wife, daughter & I are planning to go on vacation in August. We are trying to decide where.
Looking for island type vacation. We’ve been to Aruba & St. Lucia recently, so someplace new. One current option is Great Exuma. Looking for other options as well. Would like clear waters & nice beach(es). My wife also likes to sight see. Any opinions are very welcome, including opinions on Great Exuma. All inclusive is a plus, but not mandatory. Thanks.

Yes, we did. Resort was great. Not best resort I’ve been to, but definitely worth staying at.
Weather was great, but HOT!
Beach and ocean at Grace Bay were absolutely fantastic! Calm waters and very clear. I was able to record stingrays around 15 feet down. Possibly best beach I’ve ever been to. Unless you are someone that loves waves, it’s fantastic

The beach at Grace Bay is the best beach I have been to as well. Was lucky to to to T&C several times in the early 2000's before all the development hit.

My brother moved to Hawaii (Oahu) about 4 years ago. I have visited twice. It exceeds expectations. The beaches and the water are unbelievably beautiful. If you have the time and inclination, you could visit the Big Island, Maui or Kauai. I graduated from high school in Santa Barbara and Hawaii is substantially better than Santa Barbara.

I would add that a fair number of people are impressed by Santa Barbara -- it does have very good beaches and other attractions.

Spent 12 years on Kauai...I feel like every year there added a year to my life expectancy...relaxed and beautiful!
