OT: Best views in tournament golf?

Unreal sights.

Stateside - I'm partial to Wolf Creek, the contrast is gorgeous.

Mountain golf is amazing. You should play a round or four at the Telluride Golf Course when you're touring western Colorado. $200 per round but worth it.

Did you go on your trip yet? Looking forward to hearing where you are going/went.

We leave in 2 weeks, just back from TCI last week.

I am not bringing my clubs, the wife doesn't really play (still learning). The course looks great though. We are probably doing 2 jeep tours of the high country. From Telluride, definitely will do Imogene Pass. From Ouray, looking at the Alpine Loop.

Sounds good. T-Ride / Mountain Village will be the highlight of your trip so plan on spending an extra night or two to explore the many area activities. We'll be out there all of August and "some" (that's for michnittlion) of September so let me know if you need any help or if we can treat you to local refreshments(much better than Turks Head :))

Thanks, we'll be in Telluride for 3 nights (8-7/8-10), one night in Mancos (Mesa Verde NP), one night in Durango and 2 nights in Ouray. I'm up for a few beers at your favorite brew pub.

Ping me at peetzpoolboy@gmail.com a few days before you arrive. I don't check that account frequently but will link it to my primary account so I get your message in time.

Which hotel did you select in TRide/MV? if you need help, let me know.

Instead of staying in Mancos, you might want to consider expanding your area to include Cortez (5 miles west) to expand your choices. Mancos has a nice bakery and a few decent restaurants, but not much else.

Will do, we'll be heading down from Grand Junction. We're going the vrbo route in Telluride.

I like that Mancos is right at the entrance to MVNP. Cortez doesn't look that appealing. I like the vibe of this local motel in Mancos. They will let us check in early, then we can head to the park.

I already have the bakery on our list.

.....and rest assured we'll be checking this place out.

one of the best pics ever posted to this site. It involves all of the Federally-Mandated elements for male health.

1) beer

2) golf

3) sunshine

4) green grass

5) balls

6) oh yeah, I almost forgot...a scantilly clad chick swinging an oversized driver.

And some of you wonder why Tiger would go to the effort and expense to fly her out on his private jet to some inconsequential tournament.
