OT/FC: Apparently Blackledge's Taste of the Town is back...

I hope his google info is up to date.

...never understood why it went away.

Never been to the Road House, but have had Zingerman's fare a number of times. Without question, the most overrated spot that passes for a deli anywhere. Guess the NYC transplants need something on which to wax lyrical.

If I recall correctly, there was a book of Todd's Taste of the Town selections. I know for Madison it was to have the Scrambler at Mickie's Dairy Bar and I had it each time I've been to Madison. It did not disappoint.

Todd's choice in State College was the Ye Olde College Diner and the Grilled Stickies. That closed right? Where would be his likely PSU food suggestion?

Todd can go to the “new” Tavern. Or the new and improved Corner Room.
Well, if he’s going to the Corner Room, he’d better go early. We tried to go after the game yesterday, got there around 8:00, only to be told they closed around 7:30! On a football Saturday??? Are you kidding me??? The first home game in 2 years, the businesses in SC are crying the blues about no fans, blah, blah, blah and one of the signature places in town can’t stay open past 7:30 on a football Saturday??

Welcome to Covid world. If they don’t have enough staff then they can’t stay open. It’s happening everywhere.

They probably don't have enough employees to add another shift. Why work when you can make the same playing playstation?
