I hope you like the movie polls, more to come.
Amen to One on One with Annette O'Toole. How about One On One? Basketball Diaries?
I'm casting my vote for Fastbreak even though it failed to make the list.I hope you like the movie polls, more to come.
Santini is a good movie , If you like Hoosiers and underdog movies even if not basketball related you have to like Breaking AwayLoved The Great Santini, authored by Pat Conroy.. had basketball involved tangentially but another book by Conroy, My Losing Season, was a great basketball read which would make a good movie. I liked Hoosiers too, but I like all the underdog movies, Rudy, Rocky, Bad News Bears, Seabiscuit, the whole nine.
One on One was pretty good when I was a kid when it first came out. Like a lot of movies I thought were good back then, they don't always translate to good movies when you have a few years under your belt. I'll go with Hoosiers. White Men was funny though and worth seeing.

Hoosiers is great but personally as a all around movie with a sports theme Breaking Away is better and done with no stars at the time . Quaid and Stern went on to bigger things . Paul Dooley was wonderful in itYes. Very cool movie. Long time since I saw it.

That is good but I love the scene with Barbara Hershey's mom when she says '' The sun don't shine on the same dog's ass everyday but You haven't seen a ray .......Ok i cant remember exact finish but you know the line , And also when she jumps up'' I think we should vote again''
