OT - Running trails around state college

We’re heading to SC for the weekend and my son is skipping his Saturday cross country practice. He is very dedicated and plans to run 10 miles before we head to the stadium. Does anyone know a good running trail close to SC? It needs to be a non-paved surface, so running on the roads is out.

It's exactly five miles from the trailhead at Spring Creek Park to the light at the Pump Station in Boalsburg. It's not completely unpaved, he'll have some pavement along Scenery Dr. and Atherton St. but he can run in the grass alongside the blacktop most of the way. Out and back, boom. Ten miles.

If that's completely out of the question due to pavement, there are many dirt trails through Walnut Springs Park but not ten miles worth, he'd have to get creative and do several loops.
