OT: Saw 13 Hours, the secret soldiers of Benghazi

No spoilers please and no partisan jab intended, but is the movie just what happened in Benghazi or does it touch on the the decision to not send in additional support?

From what I heard- it's a really good movie that lays out what happened and the failures very frankly but does not mention Obama or Clinton specifically.

It really is not political and 99% about what happened there. Mention is made at a few times about support not being sent but not political at all. Bonus, the woman who plays a CIA agent is so smoking hot, it made me want to cry, LOL.

Haven't seen the movie yet but just finished the book yesterday. If the movie is true to the book, which was based on discussions with the surviving operators, it was intended more to reflect on the experience and actions of the men involved. There was a mention of the frustration over some of the indecision of those in charge, but any political mentions are restricted to the author's comments in the epilogue.

Will have to pick up the book although I am backlogged with about 5 books on my shelf right now. Heard one of the guys who survived the ordeal on the radio the other day. Those guys have balls of titanium. He said that it was something like six against 50 or 60 at first and claimed the attackers were undermanned. Fearless and selfless heroes putting their lives on the line and all the while knowing they have a wife and young kids at home and the hardship it would inflict upon them if they die. Incredible courage. God Bless them.
