what does a "director of development" do in an organization like that? It sounds suspiciously like a marketing position
Please take this opportunity to remember that Penn State has a culture problem.
These "organizations" care only about the pocket depth of the accused, not the scars of the real accusers.
So obviously roxine blames Joe Paterno for this.
It's an industry.
Jeff and Marci did one thing right: I believe they obtained the stay on TSM assets fleeing the State of PA to the State of TX.
However, once they figured out TSM's $$$ had made the magic disappearing act, they went straight for PSU for a payday. Marci to this day still puts out fake blogs about "Joe Paterno" etc. to cover up the fact that she and Jeff could have cared less that TSM/Arrow's child programs were faulty and child-endangering and were allowed to continue in PA under the Arrow name.

But you gotta admit, their strategy has worked. Find a group that has lots of people who don't like them. If they have lots of resources, you can portray them as rich and uncaring. If you don't understand much about them, you can easily make up stories about secrecy and coverups. Insert yourself as the caring angel looking for justice. People will think it's a good idea that such an organization should have lots of money taken from them. If you happen to get a share of that for your efforts, well, a lot of people are OK with that.
The fact SNAP ran with anything Paterno at any chance they could tells you all about the legitimacy of such a charity.
Remember Ira Lubert's comments about settling claims based on which lawyers were representing which clients? Somehow his buddy lawyer got the largest settlements. Imagine that.
Disgusting. And yet, here we are in 2017 and haven't yet publicly repudiated the Freeh Report ... So nothing surprises me anymore.
