Earlier in the game, I understand "sticking with the run". There, with 2 minutes ans 20 seconds or less left, that was a wasted down.
OT. Hope we finish right at 8pm. The 45 minute wait between Big 12 and this was boring.
You'd think Texas would have a big advantage in OT. Their starting QB, seasoned and excellent, against Georgia's back-up.

Herbie tried to polish that 3rd down play call, but that's a 2nd down call here, 3rd down on your end. Not in the red zone.

As a former linebacker, this targeting horeshit has gotten way out of hand. Just not allowed to hit the QB anymore, apparently. They should just put flags on the QBs waist and be done with it.

I do think that hit is way worse than some that get called but I'd eliminate the rule altogether
They took the targeting call away. Understand why they did it live. It was a vicious hit.
They did, but my points stands. The whole call has negatively affected the sport, IMO.

But, but, but ... playing in a CCG is not supposed to hurt you, and yet Alabama is in and SMU is out.
I can't wait to hear again from the ACC Commissioner. He is already furious that Miami got bumped. He saw Miami's losses as close games against good teams, and I might agree, at least for Georgia Tech. I guess not beating anybody is going to matter after all, and the committee is going to eat what he has said.
