This seems unfair. The District 11 champ always gets the District 12 champ in the first round. And we get hammered. It would be nice if once in a while we played District 3 or 1 first.
PA High School Playoffs - Parkland Gets St. Joe's Again

St Joe’s should not be permitted to compete in the state playoffs. They recruit from an entire region of the country. Congrats on beating Emmaus after getting shutout during the regular season. In terms of Lehigh Valley football at the 6A level, I think there were several good teams, but no elite teams this season. Easton, with a relatively young core this season, will be an elite team next year under Matt Senneca.
Good summary of the District 11 6A teams. Several teams could have made a little progress in the playoffs without the St. Joe's match.
My local High School the Clearfield Bison play the mighty Thomas Jefferson on Saturday in Altoona 🤦🏻♂️. Very proud of my small school making it this far.

Non boundary schools do not belong in the playoffs with boundary schools. It will change.
I was explaining to my wife, are star player Brady Collins. is going to Brown. TJ is loaded with star athletes. We would need some major luck bouncing are way. Hey you could root a little bit for Clfd, with the brown connection 😉. Thanks
I will ALWAYS root for public schools in these matchups. When kids are commuting up to an hour a day to attend a school, it makes for an uneven playing field when they are playing kids from a defined district. Go Parkland!

Total yards 205 - 35. St Joes had 95 yards in penalties.
Depressing. I wish that there were regional Catholic school playoffs involving PA, NJ, and MD. They would make much more sense.
You would likely have known my son as he was the QB around that time. Also played BB and baseball.
Again, that game is another example of why a public school like Parkland should not be playing a multi-state regional super team like St Joe’s.
