Pan Am Qualifier

She was AMAZING today, had no idea she was training at the NLWC. Just got back from Mexico (specifically Jalisco where Jane is from) a couple days ago, a huevo!

What's her story? How did she end up at the NLWC?

Is this the beginning of the domination??? I would love this. Now we just need a few representing USA!

Why is she an egg?

So, she is married to Jaime Espinal, who is also an NLWC athlete. Besides that, someone else here might have more info.

Trackwrestling has it, or if you have an IP Address outside the US, you can watch for free on UWW's website.
Just be warned...If you go the VPN route, you have to either exit the VPN to come back to BWI, or change the VPN to make it appear that you are in the US. Freaked me out yesterday, because I thought coronavirus took out Rivals.

I'm well aware. You guys thought I did a good job on PBP for U23s--you didn't even know I did all my typing on my phone. ;-)

Any VPN recommendations? How do you set up so you appear to be outside the states?

Nord has a deal for 11.95/month
I'm not the guy to ask, as I've just spilled everything I know about them. I use Norton Secure VPN. Right now, they have an annual plan for five devices for $40.

Nord lost some luster recently, as they inadvertently leaked people's data. ExpressVPN is the cream of the crop, IMO from a security perspective, but I use VPN Unlimited because it's super cheap. This thread will probably be deleted soon. Maybe consider thanking Track for giving us our sport right now anyway?

I see VPN unlimited has a free seven day trial. Is this fairly easy to set up? What country do you recommend setting it to?

Download the Opera browser. Then go into Settings > Advanced and enable VPN. Click the VPN icon on the Opera toolbar, and select Euorpe/Asia.

I'm sitting here staring at the live feeds of the mats!

Setup is very easy (at least for me as an IT professional who has to evaluate things for ease of use for a living). I usually use a Canadian server--good speed, and in this case, the event is in Canada anyway.

Ok...going to try it! IT help guy...please stand by :D

This is a good opportunity for Zain to show off adjustments and make a statement. Good luck to all the boys competing today, let's get those weights qualified!

Not judging anyone here but I'll mention that the basis for anything being deleted would be supposed copyright infringement, to which I'll comment that it's very unlikely Rivals would found liable under either secondary infringement theories--inducement or vicarious--the former requiring some showing that the host intended its users to infringe, and the latter requiring "an obvious and direct financial interest" in the exploitation of the copyrighted works. But there's little drawback to overreaching by copyright holders and hosts comply with almost any takedown request, regardless of its legitimacy.

Zain will have Bocane (PR) or Munoz (COL) next.

Munoz has taken 3rd twice at Pa Am, last time in 2017. No info on Bocane.

Gilman up against Sadijku (CAN)
  • Handfighting (surprise) Gilman on edge with whizzer looking to slip it. Nothing, back on their feet.
  • Gilman pushes to the edge, get the stepout 1-0.
  • Gilman pushing oiut again, but they're both on knees.
  • Gilman from whizzer gets another step out. 2-0.
  • Gilman low on ankle, climbs and converts 4-0
  • Gilman with another two, looking wrench, gets two more, and one more turn from the same wrench at that'll be it. 10-0.

Gilman with 2 pushouts, 2 tds, 2 exposures for the tech.

He finishes with a facemush and sings God Bless America mid-mat.

Gwiz is on deck on B, and I don't know where DT is, maybe there's a pigtail to get through on 86kg first. But Zain will be about 5 matches after Gwiz on A.

Gwiz up against Merrill (PR).
Snatch single and Merrill gets rolled for 4. Two more for Gwiz and it's 6-0. Easy takedown, Gwiz gets two more easy exposure points and it's 10-0.

USA guys are 30-0 on the day.
