I saw Casey in the corner for Rodriguez. I think McCrystal had Manning.
Too bad Gomez was on JB's side of the bracket. He probably would have gotten silver.
Not 100% but I think the # of entrants at a tourney also affects the points, so Euros will have more value.

I wondered that too. Don’t always undestand the vagaries of when they give a td in those situations first and when it’s just exposure.

I did not see the match but the USA Wrestling website write up made it sound more interesting.
"While the score was one-sided, the match featured a lot of action with several exciting scrambles. Burroughs took a 5-0 lead in to the break with a takedown and leg lace and scored one more takedown in the final frame for a 7-0 win. "
I can't tell which is funnier: Burroughs using the phrase "Full DeSanto," or that the Outstanding Ref award exists.

Yeah, most anyone would have been happy just to get out from that defensive whizzer position. But DT just casually hips into his left side; and then attacks the opposite leg when his guy adjusts. Like he meant to do that from the beginning.
