Okay...I agree...do you think any #1 is coming back the next year being told they'd have to compete for playing time?I mean we don’t know right now, he’d have to compete for whatever he gets.

Perhaps we fire Hagans, bring in his replacement, who brings along his top 1 or 2 WR's? Should be plausible (cough cough)
This is 100 percent he was told to move on....
And Good. He is not physical enough to beat man coverage, or fight for the ball, and he regularly quits on routes.
We don't need one single receiver on next year's two deep that was a part of zero catches for zero yards.
Watch them drop every contested ball
Watch them never create separation against man
Watch the film
It's not what I want...it's all there for you. Or listen to the other Landon if you can't accept what I'm telling you
You are correct. It is no big deal. The WR room needed a good clearing out. It’s at least one year late in my opinion. Franklin gambled in hoping the core WRs would be good enough for 2024. He bet wrong. The Notre Dame game results (zero WR receptions) was the final straw. There was no way Penn State could bring back the majority core WR group for another season. Time to move forward.

In retrospect, it's still a shame that there were so many pieces that didn't fit or work well together in that WR room.Exactly. Addition by subtraction.
Right...and our guys couldn't do either. You have to he able to do one or the other.Separation is overrated. The contested catches you mention = no separation. Jeremiah smith makes contested catches.
Post 31 was me responding to mydome where he mentions Beau--I said, you want to talk about him in every thread which is true
Notice you didn't respond to him--just me
I know you can't read--we've established that
Wallace is going to go somewhere and have success. Not a bad receiver. Will be even better when paired with a QB that can see the field and get him the ball.
A good cleaning out is fine if you have a couple of proven prospects behind the guys you cut loose. Who do you think they are?You are correct. It is no big deal. Again--see what I copied in Post 31--why didn't you respond to mydome--we all know whyPost 31 is where you brought up Beau. I didn't; you did. You lost again. Loado Loser.

The pure stupidity of these comments by people that don't comprehend anything they're seeingAgreed.
Thank you. Wallace ran slow routes because of effort. 90% of his short routes were jogged because....who the hell knows why.The pure stupidity of these comments by people that don't comprehend anything they're seeing

Evans is just bad. like bad bad....needs to join a track team wherever he portals to.

Anyone believe that coaching may be an issue here as well?Good...clear the room
Wallace was set to be the #1 WR next year. The fact that he's portalling out does not speak highly of Hagans.
Well generally WR's get better every year with more catches. KLS had more catches here but more yards at Auburn. Name a receiver that has killed it after leaving here?Harrison probably leaves here and has a career year next year, just like Keandre did.

Well, Dante Cephus and Julian Fleming's numbers both fell off hard once getting here, so they didn't "get better every year".Well generally WR's get better every year with more catches. KLS had more catches here but more yards at Auburn. Name a receiver that has killed it after leaving here?
Cephus jumped up into tougher competition here, but Fleming’s drop off is a good point.Well, Dante Cephus and Julian Fleming's numbers both fell off hard once getting here, so they didn't "get better every year".
See his comments...many of us are saying the same thingDid mydome, an adult (aka a grown man), call a 20 year old, PSU graduate and scholar athlete (and his family "cowards?")
Yeah.... You got your answer Loado.
It is. No doubt about it.Anyone believe that coaching may be an issue here as well?
See his comments...many of us are saying the same thing
Agreed and a lot of times his drops are because he is jogging and the pass isnt or wasnt intended for those that are jogging. He needs to spend an hour every day with a JUGS machine.
Blame? I'm proud of him and so many others or seeing through the liesDon't blame him for your behavior.
Blame? I'm proud of him and so many others or seeing through the lies
I'm only disappointing in Beau's behaviorSo now you are proud of your behavior? lol... What a mess.
I'm only disappointing in Beau's behavior
No I'm disappointing in him not owning that...he refused to own his decision. No other player that left their program during the playoff complained. Just the coward. You're disappointed in a football player wanting to play football, and compete................ lol.....
You're disappointed in a fellow PSU graduate and scholar athlete.... lol....
You have your head up your ass Loado. I'm certainly not the first to tell you that.
