Fact. This is a complete embarrassment and Hagans should not longer be employed.
Penn State is the only non service academy team in all of football to finish a game with zero wr catches for zero yards.

This game isn’t as much on Franklin in regards to the play on the field. He can be blamed for not developing our WRs, but at the same time, the players ultimately put on the helmets and pads. It seems psychological at this point. I’m not sure how we address that, to be honest.
Actually no, it doesn't. This team has been incompetent at this position for two years and that is a failure of coaching and recruiting.
The first step is to fire the coach responsible, and that is Hagans. The second step is to hire a PROVEN wr coach( not someone from a perennial doormat like Virginia), and the third step is to have that coach bring in two more receivers from the portal better than 47th and 71st.
Yup, Fleming had better statistics with OSU and that was with Marvin Harrison etc. on the team, WTF
So AK has no problem designing plays for WRs at his last stops but here he does?
They don’t get open and we don’t recruit well. Seems like it’s a Hagans problem.
WR production was absolutely abysmal. Hagans needs to go and they need to pony up for a proven coach.
With an Alan Robinson type or say Godwin we would be a threat to win it all this year.
But every game we lost our made some horrible place near the end or a critical times.
the gulf between Godwin/Robinson and what we have currently is immeasurably wide. A KJ Hamler or Parker Washington would even be miles ahead of where we are at.
There are high school teams with better wr rooms.
We should have just done our best 2023 Michigan impersonation, and could have won with it, but that’s not how they want to call games.
Hagan's should be gone, I agree. But, makes you wonder how we won 13 games with the receivers we have.
Hell, I would say, even Parker Washington puts this team over the top, and that’s no dig on him at all. He’s just not the same caliber as Robinson or Godwin.
