Football Penn State smothers Boise State, Jeanty en route to 31-14 quarterfinals win

How James keeps Sutton in the game is beyond me. This guy just bloviates about discipline and how they really pride themselves on penalties, and it's all just hot air garbage

Was he not? Listen he had a great run but Allen was far better today--we all accept that, right?
Singleton went down way too easy today--I also talked about how important he would be next week

Blah, blah, blah..... Loado with more drivel...

That's what you get when you gamble and load the box because you can't stop the run "hat-on-hat".... nobody within 30 yards of Singleton once he cleared the LOS.... BSU had zero defenders beyond 10 yards from LOS... and with Singleton's speed, that's game over once he clears LOS. They keep talking about Jeantry as a threat to break one, when Singleton is the FAR bigger threat to do what he just did (untouched TD run with nobody even remotely sniffing him once he cleared the LOS.

Reminder that Boise State’s only loss was AT Oregon by three on a FG as time expired.
They also didn't beat anyone and that was in September
BUT we took care of business--we get to prove how good we are in the Orange Bowl
Couldn't be happier--here we come Miami

DDS drew the 2nd penalty because of the 1st.

He went a little high, but that's more of an NFL rule (contact to the head) than college. 1 step and hit isn't usually called, but again, it's based on the previous play (which was a dirty, loaded hit).

You cant have a rb who gets 2 yards a carry and then gets one 60 yarder.

You need dependable yards and Singleton was not getting that.

Before his 58 yard run he was averaging less than 3 ypc on 10 carries.

Allen was getting 8.7 ypc

And that's with two long allen runs getting called back.

Singleton also got his big play when Boise was selling out and had no one back.
But it hasn’t been that way all season…our offense has been much more productive with Singleton this year.

Will Boise air it out hoping for a miracle? Or will they hand it off to Jeanty to get him 100+ yds and the record?

If he just pushed him in the back, it's likely a no call. He went forearm to the head.

Seems I read that Oregon was not the team early in the season that they were once they got rolling. But yes, BS has some talent and if they had won the turnover battle they could have taken this to the wire...

I have that guy on ignore … is he talking poo about Singleton? A few games back, Singleton was everything and Allen was a dud. Singleton’s a beast. Good lord.
