I really thought that was an impressive win on Saturday for the program. I was proud to see PSU come out and play a decently all the way through type of game. I really think that is something that the players and program can build off of. I don't take that win lightly, a win like that provides experience, confidence, and a certain know how for future players and team that they have the capability to win against those types of team.
It is important for players like Shep, Reeves, and even Watkins to play and see that type of game, that win can be duplicated. I was impressed with the way the team competed and defended.
That IU team is young, but a very good team. Give credit to Chambers in company, they responded well after the drubbing against Iowa, that shows character. Definitely not saying it is a turning point, but it is at least an encouraging sign in the process of building a program again!
