These games with more talented teams and two weeks for them to prepare are tough.
He should continue to do well. May leave Indiana regardless of the contract.
ND won't have their way with the UGA defense but UGA's offense is suspect with backup QB having to play. UGA will have to get their running game going.
Could be a defensive struggle.

But ND beat 5 ranked teams this year!!!!!! (never mind that those 5 are Texas A&M at 8-4 no longer ranked; Louisville at 8-4 no longer ranked; Navy 9-3 no longer ranked, and Army who is still ranked but just got creamed by Navy, and of course Indiana - google them)

Some of you are so full of shat in your defense of crap b2g teams - people saying "Indiana's hanging in there..... blah, blah, blah....". Indiana looks like dog crap - they've got 131 yards of Total Offense through 3 quarters of play (ND has 317 yards of Total Offense but is just not finishing drives). This game has not been close and Indiana looks awful, especially offensively. ND looks very beatable as they have no passing game and are extremely one-dimensional.
ND is likely to beat UGA. But Penn State should beat either ND or UGA if we play smart and disciplined. This bracket couldn’t have been set up any better for Penn State.
Most people are focused on SMU then Boise State right now--probably aren't looking to UGa/ND

The one thing that would make me really nervous about playing ND is their pass defense, which is just absolutely blanketing Indiana’s WR’s. It looks like the little pass offense we have with WRs would be completely off the table lol.

Cignetti punting to keep the score respectable despite punting effectively meaning they're done (Indiana probably only has two possessions left.). Cignetti is a f'ing fraud - only a loser doesn't try and win the game there. Who f'ing cares whether you lose by 17 or 50 in a playoff game for NC????
Of course, that does mean much more heat on big game James if he drops the game to either SMU or Boise St though haha. People think there’s a lot of pressure on Ryan Day tomorrow? But watch out of CJF psyches the team out against SMU.
Agreed, but Franklin is good in games he should win--he should beat SMU and Boise State so I'm really not worried

I agree--i get what you're saying. I just think the focus for most was Oregon has to beat Ohio State or Tennessee while Penn State only has to beat SMU and Boise State to reach the semis--how is that fair to Oregon. Not everyone overanalyzes like I do--and apparently you do lol
