Hopefully the PSU team/ coaches are watching and seeing what may need adjusted for the cold tomorrow. The receivers have to adjust how they catch. Get the running game going early. The punter needs to seriously stretch and if the punting matches this ND game they may need to alter offensive plans accordingly. The extreme cold is definitely having an affect on this game.
If IU doesn't get a three & out after the half this game will be a blowout. IU has to stop NDs run game and force Leoard to remain in the pocket throw. It's not as bad as I thought. Only down 14.
Desmond looked more ridiculous than this kid.Desmond at halftime
I agree. IU can't give up a score to open this half. A quick ND out would be nice.If IU doesn't get a three & out after the half this game will be a blowout. IU has to stop NDs run game and force Leoard to remain in the pocket throw.
As Coach Saban said, IU will have to open it up.
If Desmond falls down will he need help getting up like Randy?Desmond at halftime
Everybody would probably just leave him lay there. If Desmond falls down will he need help getting up like Randy?
Yes, they failed to contain him in the pocket.I agree. IU can't give up a score to open this half. A quick ND out would be nice.
Leonard really hurt them that last drive running.
Most of us are rooting for Indiana--I just don't think it makes a differenceI haven't watched the game yet, but I will in the 2nd half. Based on the comments here IU doesn't stand a chance, but I hope the Hoosiers can pull it together. I'd love to see them beat the Domers. With that said, even if Indiana gets dominated Bama did not deserve to get in.
Ha! Ha!Everybody would probably just leave him lay there.
Rourke looking like a statue back there. Sacked inside the 10. Not what they need. Might need to put in the back up who is more mobile.Indiana got the 3 and out. But the kick return killed their field position.
IU is going to need some turnovers to win this one. Doubt they're going to have sustained drives.
I just looked at Indiana’s schedule/results and really only watched their games vs OSU and tonight. They have a nice team but definitely not in the top tier of conference.Good stop after the long kick return. I think we'd kill both of these teams
This game is over. That was a boneheaded hit by Carpenter on Leonard out of bounds.I have trouble feeling to sorry for IU, because their coach has done so much chirping since he got there. They are just plain getting killed.
So dumb, and I hope our own defense cleans that up for the playoffs. This game is over. That was a boneheaded hit by Carpenter on Leonard out of bounds.
Same--not sure what people are afraid ofNeither of these teams scare me. In fact, I think we beat ND by double digits, they are slow.
Indiana also stinks though. They don’t get that easy of a schedule and this team is 8-4 or 7-5.Two thoughts:
I keep going back to one word that is the key to getting the most out of your team. Discipline. Without it you have to be lucky, but even then eventually the odds catch up and you get eliminated.
- The bad tackling angles are the fallout of playing a weak schedule. When you are accustomed to going against better athletes you will take a better angle.
- I hope our guys are watching this game and seeing once again how stupid penalties can ruin your season. That late hit out of bounds was unbelievable. Cignetti was screaming WHY? WHY? over and over again. Brain dead football.
ND saw it on film too. They are being bland on both O and D because they know they have the advantage at almost every position. What’s the longest pass they’ve even attempted.Indiana also stinks though. They don’t get that easy of a schedule and this team is 8-4 or 7-5.
Same could be said about SMU thoughIndiana also stinks though. They don’t get that easy of a schedule and this team is 8-4 or 7-5.
They took a deep shot to Sarratt early that went for like 30 yardsND saw it on film too. They are being bland on both O and D because they know they have the advantage at almost every position. What’s the longest pass they’ve even attempted.
They did the same thing against Ohio State to avoid being blown outWhat a pathetic performance by Indiana. Playing scared the entire game. Just laid down for ND.
