IU / ND Game Thread (if there isn't already one...)

Cignetti is getting blown up nationally for waving the white flag last night with the inexplicable punt. This particular article indicates it will haunt him for years to come. A lot of people are saying they didn’t belong. In fact, I think Indiana’s performance is
an embarrassment to the conference in general.

It was a really terrible, inexplicable decision to punt the ball in that spot but consistent with the way Indiana played the whole game: conservative offense...afraid of making a mistake...playing not to lose...until finally with that punt they played not to win.

What made it worse was that Cignetti took roughly the same approach against Ohio State.

Notre Dame is a very good team and there's no disgrace to losing to them -- they were, what, 7-point favorites after all -- but wow, to lose like that...it really takes the luster off what had been a historically good Indiana season.

Notre Dame is a pile of cheating crap.

They totally played not to lose. The offensive gameplan wad terrible and Rourke is overrated. His NFL audition last night did not go well. He can't out run D linemen.
