Harer-Botero should be awesome. Gonna give us a real idea of just how good Harer is.
Not there yet, but Weidemoyer is gonna be big time.
I thought I heard he was good enough to beat Jax???Harer-Botero should be awesome. Gonna give us a real idea of just how good Harer is.
Couple of guys from schools separated by about 10 miles but from different regions. Should be good.
Wagner would be a candidate for most improved. I don’t believe he placed at regionals his sophomore year. Almost made State final.
Still super proud of Brady. He’s a great kid. Hoping he can fight back for 3rd.
It's gonna have to be Port Allegany HWT Carson Neely, 4-9 last year, now 35-0 and into the state semis.Wagner would be a candidate for most improved. I don’t believe he placed at regionals his sophomore year. Almost made State final.
2 of 3 got into the finals ... too bad it was the senior who didn't.Go milheim
Killer mullet. It's gonna have to be Port Allegany HWT Carson Neely, 4-9 last year, now 35-0 and into the state semis.
Plus the mullet ...
Lol was that a thing someone was saying? Must have missed that oneI thought I heard he was good enough to beat Jax???
That sucks. Bet there has never been three brothers win states in one year lol. Now that would have been something2 of 3 got into the finals ... too bad it was the senior who didn't.
Warrior Run should be around top 5, because of that family.
Make that 35-1. Ran into Robell. It's gonna have to be Port Allegany HWT Carson Neely, 4-9 last year, now 35-0 and into the state semis.

Wild Wild West out there in D11. ❤️man will win Coach of the year again. He won’t be happy if Faith beats his NDGP. He will allow more NJ kids in next year. When one looks at the current team leaderboard for both AAA and AA, one striking fact emerges. AAA: 4 of the top 6 teams are within 25 miles of each other: BECA, Naz, Easton, Qtown.
AA: 3 of the top 4 teams are within 25 miles of each other: FCA, NDGP, Saucon Valley.
I see a pattern developing. You could draw a circle around those 7 teams listed above and make a heck of a wrestling league with very little travel.
It would have been truly amazing if the Milheim’s went back to back to back in the finals. Really close.2 of 3 got into the finals ... too bad it was the senior who didn't.

Ridge got one through to the finals. Don't know how much of a shot he has tomorrow, but still pretty good.
Deputy is a good wrestler. He may well be a state champ someday, maybe even get multiple. This was the expected finals. Deputy has some shot, but Seidel will be favored and beat him 6-2 at King of the Mountain.Ridge got one through to the finals. Don't know how much of a shot he has tomorrow, but still pretty good.
What is the issue. Also, I really hate the current tournament schedule. It’s an embarrassment that AAA semis are relegated to Saturday morning,
Lexi Schechterly, Lake-Lehman, both 2022 and 2023 (district 2, 106).
IMO it would be better if both sets of semis were Friday, and Saturdays were strictly finals/medal matches. What is the issue.
There was a time the schedules flip flopped every year. I know AAA folks weren't wild about that scheduling. Eventually, based mostly on championship attendance numbers it was decided Friday would be AA QF and SF, and AAA QF. Then Saturday AAA SF, AA finals and AAA championships.
NLWCThe first girl ever to make states, loses barely in the R16
Yeah, I don't think they are going to find the time to do that. At least sort of starting on Wednesday.IMO it would be better if both sets of semis were Friday, and Saturdays were strictly finals/medal matches.
But I'm not sure that's realistic, especially after the extra matches when PIAA went to 20/weight.
I had to work at the glass block plant in Port Allegany at my first job out of college auditing the plant. When the people told me to go into town, which was Coudersport, and I drove right through it, I knew I was in the middle of nowhere. I'm rooting for this kid. It's gonna have to be Port Allegany HWT Carson Neely, 4-9 last year, now 35-0 and into the state semis.

For my money the AAA semis are typically the best round of the weekend and get buried at an awful time. And I say that as someone with no school affiliation. What is the issue.

Better ideas are good to hear though.
What if semis were AA afternoon and AAA evening, mirroring the finals? For my money the AAA semis are typically the best round of the weekend and get buried at an awful time. And I say that as someone with no school affiliation.
I don’t know how you do it, but gotta get both semis in the evening.
I do agree the AAA semis are specular from a wrestling fan's perspective, but figuring out a solution that does not require an extra day is going to be difficult. For my money the AAA semis are typically the best round of the weekend and get buried at an awful time.
