So JoMo is going to take a pay cut and give up SEC recruiting territory to go to Pitt? I've said it before but they need to bring back Wanny. He may have been a below average coach and an average recruiter, but he's the only person in America that actually wanted to coach at Pitt. That's something we'll never see again.
At least they "put academics and honor over winning".....
I'm not doubting that and nor was the Lair OP I believe. He was just being sarcastic.
Pitt fans skewered Robert Foster for going to Bama over staying home...but I'm guessing his overall college experience has been vastly superior to that of Mr. Hamlin or Ford's.
Winning seems to be pretty low on the priority list.

If the comments in the Lair are indications of their academics and honor then both of those are pretty low on the priority list also.

beat Carolina pretty easily. They’re bad and in disarray. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Tar Heels don’t win a game. There best FBS chance was East Carolina and they got whipped. They do play Western Carolina in November. They should beat that FCS team.

There’s a thread on the Lair now hoping Bryant or Hurts transfer to Pitt. They’ve given up on Kenny Heisman already.
He’s already won 4 imaginary Heisman trophies for Pitt, they don’t need him anymore.

That would actually be a good hire for Maryland. But O'Brien signed a contract extension through 2022 in January and there is a lot of football to play yet.
