I really think the Panthers will have a legitimate shot at closing the current series against Penn State with a win.

LOL! They’ve accumulated 4-5 star talent over the last 4 years, had a soft schedule and was 9-4 this past season. They barely beat Indiana and App St as well....He obviously needs better players to make up for his lack of coaching ability?


Add Iowa and Maryland to the they barely beat list.

They could have easily gone 7-6.

I watched quite a few Pitt games this year. I understand their happiness over PSU transfers, but it is their lack of self-awareness concerning their own roster which mystifies me. They had Ollison and Hall this year, who would have contributed at PSU, but they are both graduating. There is nearly no one on their roster who would get playing time at PSU. Bookser would play here. Graduating. Narduzzi has lowered the talent level in their roster through his recruiting.

They don’t have anyone at QB, RB, TE, OL, DL, LB or in the secondary who would get on the field at PSU. Ffrench would probably be part of our WR rotation. Oh, their young kicker is really good. So that’s it, their kicker and one WR who would probably be in our rotation. In order to believe Pitt can beat PSU, in Happy Valley, one would have to believe Narduzzi is good enough to outcoach Franklin to such a large degree it would account for about a 50 point swing for Pitt. What evidence is there for that?

Back in the 60s when I was in school, it was in vogue to tell "dumb Dutchman" jokes. At some point after that it was Polack jokes......this was long before everyone got offended by everything. For me at least, I enjoy Pitt jokes. There are lots of things to giggle about.....key chains, recruiting, empty seats, Coastal Conference, getting blown out, bowl disasters, barbecue cleanups and on and on.
Here's a good one....How many Pitt Coaches does it take to recruit a four star? Answer: Apparently more than they have on staff!
