If Penn State gets invited to the college football invitational playoff this year, do you have a preference between the two playoff sites: the Rose Bowl or the Sugar Bowl?

We know Alabama and Ohio State have already qualified for the playoff (you don't even have to win your division let alone win your conference) so we're vying for one of the two other spots.

Some potential caveats: Alabama in the Sugar Bowl and/or USC in the Rose are virtual home games for them.

From those that have been to one or both locales, what would you recommend doing or do differently or avoid doing the next time? Since Pasadena is still fresh on your minds......

And yes I know nothing is guaranteed and it's a long way off but for discussion sake, humor me we're supposed to see some snow.

Thank you in advance.

Well if we played usc in rose bowl or Bama in sugar bowl I would take sugar bowl

If PSU is the Big Ten champion and is invited to the playoff, there is no choice: it's the Rose.

Rosebowl is an expensive trip. I would prefer Sugar bowl. Just looking at the flights+hotel this year was borderline silly.

Is that true? I thought 1v4 and 2v3 were set. But I'm probably wrong.
If I'm right, I want the game that has 1v4, with PSU against whomever is 4.

It is, but every effort is made to get teams into bowls to which their conferences are contractually bound. Sooo.........

Sugar by a mile. Better entertainment. Better music. Better food. More boob flashing. More drunk coeds. Better venue. Not even close. The less time spent in Southern California, the better.
