Remember how well Ed Ray's deposition went?

Q: "Dr. Ray, did you read the Freeh Report?"

I picked the Utah State guy, but this is a tough question....

I have a hunch that the Utah State guy is the least likely to try to dance around the question. These others will try to deny failing to read it. And, of course, we will get the standard "I read the exec summary" reply from some if not all.

Q: Did you read the Freeh report? A: Yes Q When?? A last night!!!

Or will they try a "I put my faith in mark emmert" defense?

I think the Sparty Ice Queen will be first to lie about it. Wasn't she one of the most anti PSU?

NCAA Exec to admit not reading Freeh will be first one deposed

my bet is that none of them read it.

Lou Anna Simon is my bet although Harris Pastides would be a deposition I'd like to take.

Pastides was named the Chair of the committee that was created by the NCAA to manage the distribution of the $60 million. His interest was in getting some of that money for South Carolina's research efforts. Along with Kirk Schultz of Kansas State, Pastides took to the media after the January 16th settlement.

I have no doubt none of them read the entire report in advance of the imposition of the Consent Decree.

Of course they didn't read it. Balless Erickson signed away the

money without blinking an eye. Why would they have to read it?

I have to think Pastides from South Carolina (who wanted the death penalty) and Michigan State's Simon are the 2 where the money will be. The other 3 likely play dumb and say they trusted Emmert/ the NCAA. I would guess the clueless 3 go first to get any info in the bank before hitting the chief Gamecock and Michigan ice queen. ;).
