I keep hearing “people” (meaning no one important) talk about the possibility of a 2nd whiteout game against Michigan if both teams continue to win. I say no chance of an official 2nd whiteout, but that doesn’t stop people from doing it on their own, I guess.
I'm of the belief that it should be only once per year. And after seeing Auburn, I’m now thinking it’s best to keep it to conference games only as we are more likely to see an increase in visiting fans from out of conference games due to their limited shot at the experience.
What say you?

It's a student section white out.

Something like this should be organic anyway. Fans shouldn't need an official press release to have a special atmosphere. They never said to Winnipeg fans that ok today's game 6 is a white out but if there is a game 7 it will be a stripe out.

OK, here goes:

Student sections = a complete white out!

All other sections = no white anything!

I think that would be a stunning visual presentation!
There could be a joke similar to “but if we kill all the golfers”….., but I’ll steer clear. lol 😂

I think 1 game a year should be an officially designated whiteout, as is now.

The thing about a white out is the uniqueness of the event. Having 2 might dampen one of them. How about a "Deep Blue Sea" (obviously needs a new name, where everyone wears blue and the team wears a color scheme of all blue, including shoes. Can't wait to get bashed for the uniform part but it is what it is. Make it an event where recruits can go nuts!!

Didn't we try something like this during the dark years and it didn't exactly blow the roof off?

I would like to see us have a classy alternate uniform for some home games. Perhaps a Lion head on the helmet, blue helmets, gray pants with the blue jerseys, etc. I recently
purchased a gray hat and gray polo and both look great with the blue lion head logo.

How about a cross eyed lion on the side of the helmet ?

Remember how when we first started doing annual Whiteout games that some people groused it was too often and it would reduce the uniqueness of such games? I just think it is funny to remember.

Personally, I like having Michigan not be a Whiteout game this year. Kinda reflects how important or threatening they tend to be in recent years....

Most people would rather sit outside at a game on Nov 13th at noon or 330. A whiteout game that starts at 730 would figure to be a cold night. What made last week so nice was the summer like evening

Dress for colder weather. Not too hard.

Difficult late in the year for a true white-out. How many people have white winter jackets? PSU would have to dig into their wallet and hand out white t-shirt pull-overs.

Which is exactly why the Michigan game should be limited to a "student only" white out. They (the students) will wear all white regardless of the weather. Let the students have their "own thing" that day and the contrast in the stadium between the students and the rest of the stadium (most likely dressed in darker clothing) would look pretty cool.
