I cant read the article (only the first line as im not a member), but Im fairly certain (99%) Nate did not have an OSU offer either.

FWIW

when I say "recruited" i mean an actual offer.
not attending a camp or getting letters

they weren't .... trust me. this was talked about ad nauseam back then about our lack of Ohio recruits. he didnt have an OSU offer and there was little interest

in 2009 OSU landed the following OL recruits:
Marcus Hall - rated the # 9 OT in the country (111 overall)
Jack Mewhort - rated the #1 Center in the country (134 overall)
Corey Linsley - rated the #11 OG in the country (195 overall)
Sam Longo - rated the #29 OT in the country (465 overall)

Nate was ranked as the #87 OT and 1115 overall
