PSU "Alternate" Uniforms

Those uniforms matched the play on the field. They looked like shit.

Actually, the incorrect wearing of the throwback uniform was revealing. The throwback uniform includes a unique sock. Players, however, wore a wide variety of socks of THEIR choosing.

Players did THEIR own thing, rather than showing up as a uniform team...which was reflected in performance. Not blaming the players, entirely. The coaching staff tolerates this environment.

This is the reality of today's "i" culture that is pervasive in society in general - first and foremost the individual will do what "i" want. With this attitude embedded in the subconscious of lndividuals today, the true highly performing "team" - in sports, work, or any other area of life is rare and very difficult to cultivate and maintain.

Yea, I don't get the "tradition" of including white shoes. The one and only time that PSU has worn white shoes was in the biggest game in the program's history (the first true shot at a NC) and they lost the game.

I believe we are now 1-2 while wearing white shoes. Time to retire that portion from Generations of Greatness, not that it ever fit.
