Beau Pribula back to PSU??

A comically easy schedule that year. Obliterated in the playoffs.
The Giants have been my NFC team ever since Rob Carpenter played for them, and I believe that it would be better for them to sign a free agent qb for this upcoming season because I really don't like any of the qbs who are coming out.

Grunk is going to be better than beau.

I am not so sure. Few quarterbacks are better at running the ball than Beau. In passing, despite Grunk's stronger arm, the ball is too low when he starts the forward motion. Almost looks like he is throwing sidearm.

Grunk is going to have fumbles and batted passes unless someone works with him to get that ball higher and secure. Franklin won't be the guy to think this is important until the stats start showing that he has a problem. By then it will be too late.

So basically the same "problem" that Dan Marino had. Hmmmmm,,,,

Lmao amazing how much you picked up from his 2 passing attempts this year that went about 5 yards lol

Don't forget Jaxon Smolik, who -- assuming he recovers from his injury -- is a really good run/pass QB prospect. He and Grunkmeyer both did really well in national QB camps as I recall.

Eagles 38 - Giants 7 in the divisional round, sucked in 2023 and 2024.
I'm aware--they also beat the Vikings as I'm sure you're aware
And, yes, in 2023 DJ was injured and in 2024 was a disaster--happens everywhere when GMs make major mistakes

Ya but our expert here says he can’t throw correctly and will fumble alot

That says nothing about the issue we are discussing.

I'm not saying that Grunk won't develop into a great passer. I am saying that his mechanics could be better to minimize the risk of getting blind-stripped. If you don't think that is a risk in big games go back and watch the Georgia-ND game.

Grunk may be able to counter this somewhat if he develops a good pocket awareness, but few right-handers keep a good eye on the defensive end to their left. That's why a Carter is so valuable. You have a top athlete playing the position that poses the biggest risk to a quarterback. It's also why the OL left tackle is so critical, but surely you are aware of this.

Wow, taking the irrational love for the backup QB even farther than usual I see. Now we are clamoring for a former backup QB that isn't even on the roster and is committed to another school.

It is what it is. There is a reason that fundamentals get taught in any component of sports -- because there is a cost for lacking fundamentals.

One doesn't have to be a wizard to apply common sense.

He's known for having very smooth, repeatable mechanics, with great, natural arm action. The arm is not too low.

You have no clue what you're looking at.

Some people have convinced themselves that we needed a running QB and hate the pocket passer. They love perceived toughness over actual talent. They're primarily the same people that thought Beau was better than Drew which...was always stupid.
