Basketball PSU Hoops falls just short at home against No. 3 Purdue

Purdue just had too much scoring depth on Saturday, and Penn State couldn't quite get it done against the No. 3 team in the nation. The Nittany Lions were impressive, though, especially without much contribution from Seth Lundy and a goose egg from Sam Sessoms. Jalen Pickett and John Harrar can fuel a run in conference play if the rest of the team steps up, and Penn State fell just short on Saturday.

NOTE: Jevonnie Scott didn't play once again, but he dressed and went through full warmups for the first time this season. He dealt with NCAA eligibility issues early in the year.

This team has really improved since he start of the season. We played the #3 team even until the last few minutes. I credit the transfers and the coach. It is going to be an interesting season. Too bad we had three games cancelled which should have been wins.
