PSU/Old Guard Trustee's Response to Alumni Trustees Filing

I think that one big thing they are trying to hide is that, prior to going ahead with the consent decree, they gave little or no consideration to how much Penn State would have to pay out to alleged victims, attorneys, PR firms, etc.

That would be seen as a major fail by these titans of industry.

I don't think we will ever find some smoking gun with regards to the group of scoundrels. I'm sure there are some on the board that are trying to hide something illegal, some that had some minor ties, and those that just like to follow along. Their initial plan was to just get all of this over with and forget about it. However they went about it about the worst way they possibly could and now everything they continue to do and fight is basically to prevent info coming out that shows how bad they royally screwed up. Everyone knows it but right now they are still trying to hold on to the conspiracy nut theory. Once this freeh report is finally exposed that's it for them

Question for Anthony Lubrano

With this confidentiality agree, you obviously can't let out who said what but I do have 3 questions about it.

1) Are you allowed to make public information you find as to what was said as long as you don't say who said it?

2) Can you approach any of the people interviewed after you have read the notes and ask them if they are accurate?

3) Lastly will the public have access to the confidentiality agreement the elected alumni have to sign in order to access the notes ?

I will answer #3 only for now.

Yes, as soon as the Judge dockets the Stipulation Order, I can share the terms of the Agreement.

You already have the Acknowledgement to be signed by the 7 Alumni-Elected Trustees as Ordered by the Court and made part of the Judge's November 19, 2015 Order.
