Fair. But your reply is misleading. CP said he thinks because he "heard" from sources (perhaps) that Marcus Blaze will go to Penn State. So it was not his opinion only.
I see him on tOSU after Pyle's Kiss of Death earlier today.
At Penn State, that's the most likely spot. When Desmond comes after next year, then they'd have
125 Desmond
133 Lilledahl
141 Blaze
149 SVN
Then that leads into the Kasak/Haines/MM/Duke/Ryder/Sealey/Barr/Henckel/Asher/Facundo logjam from 157-184 leading up to the Mirasolas at the top of the lineup.

"Given up" is the wrong word when comparing against that caliber of competition. I don't think he will be able to hold 125, and I don't think he'll be able to beat the other three potential world champion caliber wrestlers (assuming we get Blaze). He certainly will have a chance to prove himself, though.
It's beginning to seem like, wherever he wants.
We're doing ok on the mat, but it's getting more clear by the day, Cael needs to improve the achedemics side of this program.
We need our kids to start graduating in 2-3 years just to make room for the inbound. It's becoming a real problem.

Even if they figure it out what is their fever and impassioned pitch, come to Iowa and win a couple AAs.
Getting nothing from Kemerer, Eierman, Warner and Woods is just kicking their ass when it comes to recruiting successfully the elite kids.
The recruits went 21-2, 18 tech falls, a pin, 2 decisions & 2 losses, at U20's today.

Blaze is already the u23 rep if he wants to be. He also is already qualified for the wtt in Ohio so he doesn’t need to wrestle this tournament.
Blaze, Mesenbrink, technically AB and Trumble all have U23 spots already.
Really don’t love the way they do that. U23 trials winner should at least get a best of 3.
I agree every other team spot is decided in a best of three don’t see why u23 is different.
It made some sense when it was Bo Nickal already being a 3x NCAA champ.

This is what happens when undefined pronouns are used; i.e., no room for "his" brother. Who is "his" referring to, the brother wrestling at U20 or the brother not wresting at U20?
