Jimmy is going to bring a lot more than he's shown thus far is he wants to beat McKenna on Sunday

For fairness' sake, we don't know how many folks are on the main camera side of the gym.
I thought of that. That is fair. It's not going to stop me from making an ignorant crack, though.

The announcer is pretty decent, though, and I usually take announcers to the woodshed during streams like this.

I'm not sure I see a way Tsirsis beats Zain this year. Sorenson maybe, but not Tsirtsis

Thought Nolf was gonna give up the TF there by not knowing the score, turns out he was baiting him

Rasheed vs. Adam Ferraro

1st
Rasheed with a quick TD, 2-0. Riding from the side. Nothing happening from Ferraro, but Rasheed not able to turn him. 1 min left. 30 sec left. Ride out. Over 2:30 of RT for Rasheed.

Rasheed takes bottom. Caution on Ferraro. Rasheed tries a sit out, nearly out but not, and then he's out at 1:40, 3-0. Rasheed in on a single, Ferraro sprawls, and then he works the TD, 5-0. Rasheed is trying a lot of things, but Ferraro is as flat as a flounder. End of period

3rd
Ferraro takes neutral. CSUB has yet to get a TD. Rasheed with a double from too far out, and Ferraro sprawls to neutralize it. 1:10 left. Half-hearted shot by Ferraro, nothing. Both shot into each other at 35 sec, nothing. Rasheed with an ankle pick, Ferraro sprawls, might run out of time, and that's how it ends, 5-0

Nickal vs. Bryce Hammond

1st
Nickael in on a leg but a stalemate at 2:25. Nickael in on a low single to a TD, 2-0. Really fast shot. Hammond tries to roll and nearly gets stuffed. Nickal controlling him. Another roll by Hammond and Nickal catches him for the pin at 1:03. Not sure what Hammond was trying, but it cost him.

PSU up 27-0

Nice performance by Rasheed. No signs at all of gas tank issues. And I have to say I was a little worried watching him in the first - he is non stop working on top and the Fierro kid looked like he was hanging playing possum. Lot of energy and work by Rasheed all match with no sign of fading. '

As I'm typing that, Bo just destroys Bryce Hammond. 174 better watch out.

Missed Tom's play by play here - not sure what happened. Rasheed over the older Fierro (ranked #12) 6-0. In on a shot for the major in the last 20 seconds but just couldn't convert. Had a ton of RT.

Cutch vs. Ambrice (sp?)

1st
Cutch in on a low single, and gets the TD, 2-0. Ambrice is pretty flat. Cutch working a nasty crossface. Nearly a tilt, but nothing. 30 sec left. Cutch tried to run an arm but potentially dangerous with 17 sec left. Caution on Cutch. Ambrice nearly out but Cutch holds on.

Cutch takes down. Up and out in 6 sec, 3-0. Cutch in on another low single, and he gets the TD, 5-0. Stalemate at 1:17. Not much off the whistle. Cutch tries to work an arm bar, and he's cranking it up. Nearly gets a tilt but Ambrice wouldn't turn. Ride out.

3rd
Ambrice takes neutral. Cutch on another low single, and gets the TD, 7-0. He cuts him at 1:23, 7-1. Cuts reaches for an ankle, then gets a TD off of a counter, 9-1. OOB with 50 sec. Cutch signals to start up, 9-2. Cutch on a low single to a TD, 11-2. He cuts at 23 sec, 11-3. With RT, it's a 12-3 dec.

PSU up 31-0

These guys seem to be in a rush. No intermission. Almost no time between matches. CSUB is still without a TD. Crowd looks good. The camera is from the side they filled up first, so the arena looked empty to start, but now it's totally full on 1 side, and about 1/2 full on the other side.

2nd
MM takes down. MM up but lifted and taken back down. Up again, and then out in 17 sec, 7-2. Franklin had a single but MM got out of it. 1 min left. Franklin in on another ankle, has MM dancing, and now he does a split, and Franklin gets the TD, 7-4. OOB with 17 left. 1st TD for CSUB. Caution on Franklin. MM up and out in 3 sec, 8-4. End

Johnson vs. Matt Williams

1st
Williams a Pac-12 finalist at 197 last year. Williams is likely to be one of the lighter heavies that Johnson faces this year. Ear-to-ear. Williams reaches, nothing, then collar ties. Stall warning on Johnson. Arena announcer says "the referee says he saw more action on his first date, so he calls a stall warning on Johnson." OOB at 1:04, and now blood time for Johnson. We're back. 1 min left. Williams in on a single, Johnson counters, then Johnson up on 1 leg, then Johnson with a whizzer, then OOB with 20 sec. End

2nd
Williams defers,so Johnson takes down. Caution on Johnson for an early start. Williams throws in legs, and seems to be wearing Johnson out as he's up high on Johnson. Stalling on Johnson, so 0-1. Williams tried a half nelson, nothing. 40 sec left. Johnson can't let himself be ridden this long. Another stall call on Johnson, so 0-2. Ride out for Williams.

3rd
Williams takes bottom. Out in 4 sec, 0-3. Johnson was slow to throw in legs, and seemed to be caught surprised by Williams standing up. Johnson shoots from too far out, Williams tries to counter and spin around, nothing, then OOB with 1:12 left. Johnson shoots for a low single, misses, nothing. 50 sec left. Johnson shoots again from too far out, nothing. 30 sec left. Johnson gets an ankle pick, Williams grabs the ankle, and time runs out.

PSU up 35-3

Nico vs. Mendez

1st
Nico gets a single early, Mendez with a whizzer but Nico with the TD, then OOB with 2:42, 2-0. Caution on Mendez. Nico basically cuts him, 2-1. 2:20 left. Mendez works the edge, Nico shoots, they go OOB, so Mendez with a stall warning. Nico in on the right leg but Mendez sprawls, nothing. Nico in on the right leg again, some funk by Mendz, and then Nico gets the TD, and then cuts him, 4-2. Nico with another TD, 6-2, then he cuts him, 6-3. Nico shoots again, but they go OOB. I think Nico got the TD, 8-3. Caution on Nico. Rides him out

2nd
Nico defers, and Mendez takes down. Nico to the side, and then cuts him at 8 sec, 8-4. Nico in on a quick single, and gets the TD, 10-4. Then he cuts him, 10-5. Nico on another single, Mendez tries to get the ankle, and then Nico awarded the TD, 12-5. Nico trying to tild him, then cuts him at 38 sec, 13-6. OOB at 31 sec. Stall call on Mendez, got the 13. Nico with a TD off the restart, 15-6. End

3rd
Nico takes down. Up quickly and gets the reversal, 17-6. Then cuts him, 17-7. Ref stops things for some reason. I think there was a mistake on the scoreboard. The set it at 16-7, so I guess there wasn't a stall call in the 2nd. Nico in on a low single on the right leg, and the TD, 18-7, then OOB wtih 1:24 left. Nico tries to tilt him. Nico cuts him at 40 sec, 18-8. Nico in on the left leg for a single, and gets the TD, 20-8. Mendez gets a rev, 20-10 (missed how it happened). Nico with a rev, so 22-10.

PSU wins the dual, 39-3

All of PSU's guys looked good except for Johnson. I'd give the match award to Nickal for pinning a ranked guy.

The announcer was cool. Did a nice job and realized his limitations and apologized for them.. A nice production all things considered!

sorry for any misspellings on the CSUB guys. I didn't open up a window with their names, so I just keyed in what it sounded like the announcer said.

seems I now have Ironhead after turning off the Roadrunner stream.

42-1 in TD edge for PSU

Ernie Lucas award to Bo Nickal.

Now interviewing Cody Sanderson. Some highlights. Cody thought it was a great event. Coach Cael is signing autographs, and has a line going out the door waiting for his signature. Cody thought the guys were a little fatigued due to this being a late match for them (EST time), but proud of how they fought threw it. He thought Bo looked great, Bryce made a mistake, and the 2nd time he tried it Bo took advantage of it. Nolf took a lot of shots, kept firing away, and is creative -- trying things he's never done before. Zain looked mean out there. Cody thought he looked angry out there. He liked seeing that emotion. Rasheed -- seeing progress, still a lot of work to do, trying hard, he wants to score a lot in the 3rd, they're confident they'll get him there. Cutch -- he missed the match, so can't talk about it.

Just like that, the feed died on me. I tried to reload, but had to sit thru the 30 sec commercial. Seemed things were still messed up after the commercial was over, so that's the end of my reporting on this.

Nico needs to work his tilts a bit. The CSUB wrestler was putting himself in a bunch of precarious positions and Nico never really looked to take him over
