Last year my invoice for season tickets came on July 27th. Does anyone know when this season’s ticket invoice will be coming out? I’m guessing the possibility exists that we may not get an invoice if fans won’t be allowed to attend.

I personally under these circumstances, would be willing to pay for my seats and not attend any matches. In return, I want to have the ability to watch the matches streamed to me, both home and away.

The program needs revenue and based on what I see coming through, I'll make a small sacrifice to ensure that future.

Oh one more codicil, if fans do get to attend, No Ohio State fans in my seats!

It's the same situation for hockey-no invoice at time typically received.

Based on football season tickets (invoiced, paid, then having to decide how to move forward from among refund and losing seat right, no refund and carrying payment to next year, or donate ticket), I suspect the PSU AD and ticketing office doesn't want to deal with that process again for season tickets of non-revenue sports in the winter sports season.

Like football, if there are games/duals, I expect no season tickets will be sold to allow for social distancing protocols with limited attendance, especially considering indoor vs outdoor venues.

PSU might make more money by streaming events. The NLWC event is pushing the boundaries, which Cael has done since day 1.

Just spitballing here, but could the home matches, or at least some of them, be moved to BJC with attendance limited to current Rec Hall season ticket holders who would be required to wear masks and socially distance--6000 fans in a 16,000 seat arena. I suspect there are a thousand reasons why this can not happen, but just maybe there is one reason why it can. It never hurts to be optimistic.

I live in PA and my cable company doesn’t offer BTN. We have to get it via Hulu or Netflix or some other satanic operation. I also can’t get football games on the radio.

Erie blows.

As of right now the PA Gov set limits of 250, including all participants and staff for outside events and 25 for inside, unless I am mistaken. I am assuming PSU would abide by all restrictions.....

This is a bit OT, but this event is causing quite a stir in the SC area today, thought I'd share as tangentially relevant. You can also blame me for officially dooming this thread if you like--though I assure you it's not my intention.

So, 25 indoors, be it a JR high 500 seat gym,or a 16000 seat arena? Brilliant.

Exactly, and I am not sure about PIAA weight classes now, but when my sons wrestled there were 13, so 26 wrestlers, 2 coaches each team, two scorers and a clock keeper, one ref, that is 34 without any fans.

Volleyball, 6 per side plus a few subs and a libero, throw in 2 refs and coaches and a score keeper, just about 25

What cable system are you on? I have a residence in the city and a cottage in the county and each system has the Big 10 Network. And the Behrend radio station WPSE1450 broadcasts the games.

Armstrong. Edinboro.

@SRATH That's Edinboro! Don't disparage Erie over Edinboro. But at least you get the Steeler games instead of the Bills!!
Do you go to matches? I split my 4 seats with a coach back in the Reading area. Hopefully we get the chance to use some of them this year

YIkes, I live about 300 yards from there. First I heard of it as I have been volunteering at the NLWC Golf Outing all day.

Well.... how was the outing. This info is why I pay the big bucks to be a member of this board.

I miss seeing east coast teams, everything is mid-west. I was never a huge Eagles fan but I liked Andy Reid and certainly the last few years have been nice to Philly. Now our 1 pm game is Minny/GB which is ok. I get to see a lot of Cleveland.......barf.

NoVa can answer too, but it was terrific. Much was changed logistically from past years to ensure the safety of all, as much as possible anyway, but the event was still a big success.
