They play by a different set of rules. I am not suggesting they cheat. They simply walk on the edge of the rulebook. I doubt we are willing to follow suit. To me, that means we are not close and never will be. That's not to say we can never win a National Championship, but we will not be in the mix every year. Alabama, at least, will be.

I’d say about 5 million dollars - that should get us three or four elite difference making players.

I'd say we are fairly close. Ohio State is close to the level of those programs and our last three games vs. Ohio State have all been decided by less than 5 points.

I hope no thinks the "bag men" are a new item. Watch the movie "Saturday's Hero," a movie made in 1951 where the implication is rather strong about payments to football players.

That’s bull. Sick of hearing this line of crap.

Did you see Saban slam his headset? They were up like 31-10. He demands excellence and develops his talent.

Franklin wants to be friends with his kids. Farmer is horrible, yet he still starts. Farmer would never see the field at Alabama or Clemson. That is the difference!

My guess is that the Alabama second string O could probably replace the ~15th ranked team in the nation.

All good things come to an end.
