The Reds move to 4-0 against the PiRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRates in 2015, as the epic battle for 3rd place in the NL Central continues.
I wish I could say I am surprised. I keep telling myself it's early, but this is looking more and more like a lost season. The Reds move to 4-0 against the PiRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRates in 2015, as the epic battle for 3rd place in the NL Central continues.
They're toast. Not due to the record at this point. They are just not very good.I wish I could say I am surprised. I keep telling myself it's early, but this is looking more and more like a lost season.
They've lost 6 of the last 7 and scored a total of 7 runs in those losses. They're toast. Not due to the record at this point. They are just not very good.
Ummm.........there are 136 games left. Stick a fork in them?
Anything can happen, but this team just looks out of whack. If we don't get "in whack" over the next 5 games, it's going to be tough to recover.Ummm.........there are 136 games left. Stick a fork in them?
The SF Giants may disagree on this one.Yep!
I just hope that shut McCutchen down now and get his knee fixed so they don't waste this season and next.
They are done as far as winning the division and the second wildcard spot isn't worth it.
Get McCutchen healthy now (surgery is needed), bring up the young arms this summer to take their beating, figure out what you have if anything in Lambo, Tony Sanchez the catcher and possibly Harrison and play to be strong in 2016. They need a few more pieces (3B, C and 1B) and which means they'll need to spend $$$ to get over the top but you need a 100% McCutchen in the middle of it.

Being somewhat of a baseball purist, I have to agree on the wildcard thing.Yeah ---- I will be honest, I HATE the wildcards, ESPECIALLY the second wildcard.
Our divisional winners are likely the Nationals, Cardinals, and Dodgers.
Other than that, eh, it will just be which 2 teams are good enough to push across to 85 wins. Seriously, 85-77 isn't that good, but that's all you really have to do anymore to make the postseason.
Honestly, even clearly non-elite teams like Pittsburgh and Cincinnati ---- I can see scenarios where they COULD get to 85 wins. I guess the 2nd wildcard does keep things interesting for us for quite awhile.
