Actually root for a few of your guys. Van Ness is a good kid. He's close with some family friends of mine in NJ. Actually sat with Shane and Rodney at a graduation party not long ago. Great family

Are you talking about Glazier wrestling AJ ? Or you talking about Buchanan coming in over Glazier? I posted here recently it's a coaches job to recruit over athletes. What do you think happens every year when HS kids come in. You bring guys into help the program and someone will be the guy and someone won't. Years ago kids couldn't leave and were stuck at a place for 4 years no matter who the coaches brought in . Now with the portal they can leave. So fans complaining about people getting recruited over don't understand D1 athletics.
This is a great take on Div 1 sports. I always told the kids to go to a university you love.
Shucks, the best goalie came in from the Netherlands to play for NU this year. Let's see who wins the spot. Whoever wins the position will make the team better.
Corby, Js, and Madden come here with alot of insight and help keep us grounded a bit. This is what makes our board better than others.

I think you are missing a little bit of context on this.. It's sort of an inside joke type deal.
This comes from the hawk board quite a while ago, HIA was doing their normal thing to bash Karl.
I'm not sure who the athlete that came to PSU but the HIA was complaining about it and said how they'd never do it blah blah blah...
So it's been a long running bit that has legs. "We like our guys" may have spawned from the same time frame.
Makes sense and im not aware of all the inside jokes here so I will definitely miss most of them.

Appreciate the kind words 👍. I like talking about anything wrestling. I know at times people think I come off as a know it all but that's not the point of my posts at all. I just like give my insight and provide the information that I have. And I understand not everyone is the same level of fan. Some are casuals and some are diehards. I'm here to have fun and talk wrestling. Many here know me. I have helped some here get tickets to events in the past. Like I said earlier CStroke appreciate the kind words and you making the post
