Penn State first offered Cheshire Academy (Conn.) three-star Ath. C.J. Holmes as a DB, but he was informed recently that upon further evaluation the coaching staff now likes him at WR. Holmes talks about how the news effects his recruitment at the link below.
Spoiler: If anything, Holmes said, the position change improves PSU's standing, as he's always wanted to play offense. PSU was in good position before and appears to have only improved upon that, as a visit for the Lasch Bash BBQ July 16 is the only trip he currently has scheduled. However – and this is a big however – he believes Notre Dame is getting close to offering. I didn't include this in the story, but he's a big fan of the Irish. If they do come through, he said, "Then that'll be a game-changing offer for me."
For now, though, you've got to like where PSU stands.
