Rewatching the Pitt game

I just watched the highlight show... didn't notice before the Hippenhammer's facemask gets grabbed as he is catching his TD. How many facemasks (called and uncalled) did Pitt have in that game?????????

A LOT. Oruwariye's 1st quarter INT was amazing considering he couldn't see the ball since his head was completely turned around by a face mask that wasn't called and was quite blatant on the replay, which the announcers (along with the refs) seemed to have missed completely.

Just saw the Hippenhammer TD catch, and he got face masked after the catch was made, also with no call.

You have to be proud how the players kept thier poise in spite of all the face mask penalties not being called.

On Saturday I thought that we were looking really good.
After rewatching the game, I'm not too sure how good we are.
Pitt is not very good. They almost gave us the game.
Stupid penalties at the worst times and mistakes, mistakes and more mistakes.

i watched the full replay. the score was kind of deceptive. game was closer in terms of play on the field, and actually a lot closer late in the game - we got 3-4 TDs late.

still our DEF really improved in the second half and that was encouraging. the weather was a factor re the OFF consistency, so kind of hard to measure them.
