1) idk if you were around a couple years ago, but Iowa fans legit claimed that i steered recruits to PSU. bwi (my man El-Jefe and a couple other studs) keep the joke going and it's one of the highlights of my life. so i'm just joking and keeping that flame burning.
2) i am serious though, that i don't get the slightest inclination that this would change. Robbie and his family are firm.

I hate facing the reality that this is further evidence that Cael can’t coach.
Ryan, Smith and Brands are all excellent recruiters, they all have brought in excellent talent over the last 2 to 4 years. You can't say Cael gets all the talent. What separates Cael and staff from everybody else is the following:
1. Development of talent throughout the lineup, top to bottom.
2. Identifying the recruits that still have plenty of room to develop (the real key to recruiting).
3. Bringing in recruits that do not have off the mat issues such as grades or legal problems. If you can't get on the mat you cannot help
4. Mastering recovery. PSU seems to avoid the serious injury bug much better than other programs. That is not completely luck.
Fully off the rails? Come on man. I'm very real about what's going on. I'm not afraid to bark in your face a bit when you flex your FLO muscles.

Omaha is only like 30 spots ahead of any Iowa city in terms of economy/relevance.

a significant portion of Iowa's passionate fan base claimed PSU's success was because i steered recruits to to Penn State.
as hilariously stupid as that is, yes, i will tell generations of my family about it. very proud.

Iowa's bowl game is on Jan 1st at 11am on Espn 2. To view Nebraska's game this year you change your channel to 3 and get out the 1995 VHS. Make sure it is rewound.

I take Turk as joking around, maybe a little bitter about the announcement but who from Iowa wouldn't be, and he's being a wise ass. No biggie. He's a decent dude, IMO.
