Tomorrow the three commits take on 28-2 Plymouth Whitemarsh at 7pm at CR South. The winner will play for the state championship this weekend.
Roman comes in as arguably the hottest team in 4A, with the fire power to win the whole thing. Carr and Stevens have had a fabulous post season, one of the more impressive post season in recent memory. They are going to look to run and speed the game up tomorrow, I expect them to press full court more often than not.
Plymouth Whitemarsh comes into this game with I believe a 15 game winning streak or more! They are lears by Rider commit Xzavier Malone. PW has huge tradition, winning a state title a few years ago with CJ Aiken and Jaylen Bond, as they look to get back to the state final. PW will look to slow the pace, as they do t have huge depth.
Simply, if PW can control pace it will be a close grind it out game. If Roman can overwhelm them with their press and run on the fast break and secondary break then Roman will win. I look for Lamar Stevens and Bostick to guard Malone at various points.
Roman wins 69-57.
Player of he game: Tony Carr
