IF he were to come to PSU, have to think the opportunity to be part of a team championship would be a factor. That's one box he hasn't checked and won't at Iowa or any other school next year.
IF he were to come back to college wrestling it would be either for A) a cash grab or B) and I hope this is the case, to prepare himself for the Olympics. Nothing more. I personally do not see any places he can go to prepare himself for the Olympics better than Penn St. Michigan and Minnesota. He is not going to Michigan as they just brought in Davison who I do not think can take an ors. Penn St. has the coaches and training partners and Minnesota, well it has been working for him already. I would like to see him stay at Minnesota or just simply focus on the Olympics.

PSU isn't vulnerable, hasn't lost to Minnesota in a long time, and hasn't lost to Nebraska since the Civil War.
Plus his other angle -- PSU buying national titles -- got obliterated by NIL and especially by Sideshow Bob spending a metric sh** ton of money for a distant 2nd place.

What is Zain going to do for the Olympics? Any chance he can get back down to 65kg or is he going to have to go 74kg? Seems like an absolute tweener. I really hope he can make 65kg and still be effective. I love Nick Lee but Zain is wrestling so well and I would think he would be the favorite if he can make it in a healthy manner.

I don’t know; when you’re 4-0 against Yianni and Zain, the world team member at the weight class AND wrestling at your natural competition weight, you’re probably the favorite.

Probably because they are recruiting his services hard and he has told them his intentions. At least that’s the tone of message I received. Again, I have my doubts.

Zain is my all-time fave PSU guy, but Im afraid to say the very reason he IS looking like a world beater is because he is at his natural weight. I still think he has it in him to become a multiple WC, but its gonna havta be at 70.
Where would he get put in 65 OTT‘s if he medals at Worlds? Semi’s??
