It seems like pretty much everyone has the flu, COVID, bronchitis or pneumonia right now so that's probably true
Hopefully the feel better tomorrow--if not, they have to dig deep or next man up--can't control or worry about that
Here we were discussing schedules, run defense, QBs, health of our stars coming off injuries and now we learn it might be the team with the most IV bags and clean underwear left who has the advantage.
I'd talk about football too if I had to watch that pathetic performance.
If I am running nutritional / medical management for any sports team right now, I would have the players on florastor or another high quality probiotics prophylactically with norovirus running rampant all over (there is some evidence it helps.) I would also ensure the players got the flu shot. And if flu is going through the team I would consider tamiflu for all. In either case I would disinfect the hell out of everything!
Noro is everywhere in Tennessee. It hits fast and hard. Hydration needs to be immediate as well as tamiflu.
It may or may not be true, but the rumors in the referenced x post include both teams having medical issues. There will be lots of iv hydration at the game. 😀
I just got off of a cruise with nine family members. Six of us got the flu. By the end of the cruise, they assigned people to spritzing your hands with disinfectant before entering the eating areas. The cruise was great but the flu was rough. I wouldn't be shocked both teams have a flu bug right now.

Again hope both teams fully healthy..whats unfortunate is that if we win ( when we win) tonight..if there is a flu bug..easy for Paul Finebaum and others "haters" say it was because ND players were sick..
Unfortunate? Not an eff should be given by anyone. On to the championship. Why would you weenies care what some other weenie said? Just win, baby.

I agree, luckily, if and when this happens, the record books won't reflect any illness and it will be greatly forgotten.

Don’t care about a fair game. I want all ND players to have a combo of Scarlet Fever and the Vapors and Ohio State/Texas to have Consumption, Dengue Fever and Rift Valley sickness

New debate post game if we win. Is it a big win if you beat a notre dame team battling the flu? Better see how they do in the championship first.
There was a rumor we have food poisoning or norovirus. I work with medical professionals and the consensus is norovirus is worse as ND likely tamiflu’d the entire team before it hit morr people and flu is not as dehydrating. Hope our rumor was untrue.
Are there any star wars scenes about defecating one's self we should be on the lookout for from abdul?

you know, personally I don't give a big rat's a-- what finebaum says. If we beat ND's third stringers because the first 2 are sick, tough.
It's not unfortunate because of what people might say, but because we would know that we were deprived of a chance to achieve something great. That said, if we win and then go on to beat Ohio State, then that's an even greater achievement than beating Notre Dame would have been.
